Group classes
Small group
Join the group Dutch classes designed for beginners to intermediate learners. In these small group sessions, you’ll learn with and from other students.
Level
Sometimes it is difficult to know your exact level of Dutch. The CEFR organises language proficiency in six levels, A0 to C2 (beginners to native speakers).
Usually you need two courses to go to the next level. If you are unsure about your level, please contact me so that we can see together which course is the best for you.
Teaching method
The focus is on conversation, where you’ll practice speaking Dutch in real-life situations. Some exercises, like listening or grammar practice, are perfect for home study. So we will have enough time to spend on conversation through speaking exercises, dialogues and games.

Stay connected with your classmates through our WhatsApp group, where you can share experiences and ask questions.
Certificate
You will receive a Certificate of Attendance at the end of the course.
Course materials
We will use the textbook “Taaltalent” for the beginners courses and the textbook “Nederlands in actie” for the Intermediate courses, the online environment, games and extra material.

The total course fee including 12 group Dutch classes is 342 euros (exclusive of the textbook).
Choose your course
Beginners BASIC – Part 1
A0-A1
This course is perfect for those who are just starting. You’ll learn the fundamentals of Dutch and have your first basic conversations. It’s also suitable for absolute beginners with no prior knowledge of the language. You will learn to introduce yourself and others, talk about family, your country and to buy food on the market.
Beginners BASIC – Part 2
A0-A1
This course is for you if you already master the present tense and can tell something about the people around you, buy something at the market and order in a café. In this course you will learn to talk about your home, asking information at the (train)station, talking about daily activities and other social situations. Also using past tenses!
Beginners PLUS – Part 1
A1-A2
In this course you will learn to talk about your hobbies, clothes, food (in the cantine). You are also going to learn to speak in the future, use conjunctions, use the imperative and make more complexe sentences.
Beginners PLUS – Part 2
A1-A2
In this course you will learn to ask questions, make an appointment, talk about the past and use the imperfect tense. You will also learn to have a conversation at the doctor. After this course you will reach level A2.
Intermediate level
A2-B1
This course is perfect for those who have a good basic of Dutch. You will have conversations about different kinds of current topics. You will learn to make more complexe sentences in different times.
